Manchester Orchestra announce headlining tour with Kevin Devine / Dead Confederate / All Get Out

Manchester Orchestra have announced a three-week headlining tour that will find them accompanied by Kevin Devine, Dead Confederate and All Get Out.

Manchester also entered Nashville, TN's Blackbird Studios this week to officially begin recording the followup to 2006's I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child. Their sophomore full-length, Mean Everything To Nothing, will be co-produced by Joe Chicarrelli (The Shins, My Morning Jacket) and the band themselves. It's slated for an early 2009 release.

The band will precede it with their new EP/DVD, Let My Pride Be What’s Left Behind, due out October 14 on Canvasback / Favorite Gentlemen.

Frontman Andy Hull will also release The Eventually Home, the sophomore full-length from his side project, Right Away, Great Captain!, on November 11 via Favorite Gentlemen.

Devine is supporting both Another Bag Of Bones, his new 7" on Academy Fight Song, and 2006's Put Your Ghost To Rest (reissued last year on Procrastinate! Music Traitors). Dead Confederate will release their new album, Wrecking Ball, on The Artists Organization September 16. All Get Out issued the Spitting EP on Favorite Gentlemen last year.
