Silversun Pickups title next record

Silversun Pickups have given a title for their next full-length. Swoon, as it’ll be called, is currently being tracked by the band at an unnamed studio in their home city of Los Angeles with producer Dave Cooley (Mickey Avalon, Darker My Love), who also handled 2006’s Carnavas.

The possibility of strings and horns appearing on the album have been alluded to as well.

Carnavas has sold 350,000+ copies to date (triple-indie platinum, unofficially).

Swoon is slated for an early 2009 release on Dangerbird.

The band will break from recording to play Austin City Limits on September 28th.
