Update on Travis Barker and DJ AM's health after plane crash

Following up on this weekend’s breaking news that Travis Barker and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein were involved in a plane crash in South Carolina resulting in four dead and Barker and Goldstein in the hospital in critical condition: Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, said the two suffered second- and third-degree burns but had no other injuries from the crash and are in overall good health, according to Billboard. Both men are expected to make full recoveries.

As for the cause of the plane’s crash, National Transportation Safety Board member Debbie Hersman says the now-deceased crew attempted to abort the takeoff due to what appears to be a blown tire, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.

According to the Lexington County coroner, the causes of death for the pilot and co-pilot were "smoke and fume inhalation and thermal injuries." Chris Baker, Barker’s assistant, died of "blunt force trauma to the head and neck," and Charles Still, Barker’s bodyguard, died of "an acute subdural hematoma caused by blunt force trauma to the head."
