Death Cab For Cutie announce fall tour; Something About Airplanes to be reissued

Death Cab For Cutie have announced a tour that will kick off tomorrow in the U.S. and finish in Europe in late November.

Additionally, the band's proper debut full-length, 1998's Something About Airplanes, will be reissued in a deluxe format by Barsuk on November 25th. It'll contain a bonus disc including the band's first ever show in Seattle, from February 1998 at The Crocodile Cafe, and liner notes from Sean Nelson of Harvey Danger (the show's headliner). Nelson sings lead vocals on a cover of the Smiths' "Sweet And Tender Hooligan" during DCFC's set.

Barsuk will also issue Narrow Stairs on deluxe 180-gram vinyl the same day. The album originally came out earlier this year on Atlantic.
