Hum to reunite for New Year's Eve show

1990s space rockers Hum have announced a reunion show set to take place this New Year’s Eve in Chicago. The show will be at the Double Door, with tickets already on sale.

The influential act released four albums during their 11-year existence. The last of those, 1998’s Downward Is Heavenward (RCA), was featured in our 10 Most Influential Records of 1998 feature (AP #242). We’d like to think we’re somewhat responsible for this, being that Hum isn’t the first band to reunite after the feature ran.

Members of Hum went onto form or resurrect acts like Centaur, Glifted and National Skyline.
