No Age censored from wearing Obama shirt on Craig Ferguson show

Sub Pop noise-pop duo No Age recently taped a performance on Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson in which vocalist/guitarist Randy Randall was barred by CBS from wearing his Obama shirt.

The network cited the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rule of equal time for all candidates. Speculators and the band themselves see the rule as the result of the Fairness Doctrine, a now-defunct policy that required "broadcast licenses to present [both] controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was (in the FCC’s view) honest, equitable, and balanced."

Randall chose to turn his shirt inside-out and write "FREE HEALTH CARE" on it.

The show will be broadcast on October 27th.
