New Found Glory reveal album title

New Found Glory's Cyrus Bolooki revealed the title of the band's upcoming Epitaph debut in a recent interview. The record will be titled Not Without A Fight.

"I think it just kind of goes in with the whole idea that we’ve been around for a while," explained Bolooki, "and we really feel like a resurgence for us that after eleven years now we’re still relevant. We’re on tours with bands like Four Year Strong, A Day To Remember and ya know, a lot of these bands maybe they first got into bands like us, and it’s almost like another generation. But it makes us feel awesome that we’re still out here and I hope that people don’t just think we’re like the old guys out there."

The band recently finished work on the album with producer (and (+44) frontman) Mark Hoppus (Motion City Soundtrack, the Matches, Idiot Pilot) and is expected to release it on February 17th, 2009.

Their last proper full-length was 2006's Coming Home (Drive-Thru / Suretone / Geffen). However, they've bridged the gap since with a number of releases: last year's From The Screen To Your Stereo Part II on Drive-Thru; this year's Hits compilation on Geffen; and most recently, the Tip Of The Iceberg EP, which was paired with the International Superheroes Of Hardcore's Takin' It Ova!, on Bridge Nine.

The band will head out on the UK leg of their Easycore tour with Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong and Crime In Stereo next month. They'll precede it with a few dates in South America.
