Punk Rock Karaoke set new release with Bad Religion, Descendents, Black Flag covers

Punk Rock Karaoke, the self-explanatory quartet featuring NOFX’s Eric Melvin on guitar, Steve Soto of Adolescents / Agent Orange / 22 Jacks on bass, Derek O’Brien of Social Distortion / D.I. / Agent Orange on drums and Bad Religion / Circle Jerks’ Greg Hetson on guitar, have their new album set for release.

The CD/DVD set will feature covers of punk classics like Bad Religion ("Fuck Armageddon…This Is Hell"), Adolescents ("Amoeba"), Dead Kennedys ("California Über Alles"), Buzzcocks ("What Do I Get?") and Black Flag ("Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie") among others. Guests include Matt Skiba, Jordan Pundik, Mike Herrera and Joey Cape among others.

The DVD will feature live footage, a fairly legitimate karaoke option that’ll let viewers sing along to the songs with the vocals on or off, and interviews among other goods.

Punk Rock Karaoke is due out October 28th on MVD Entertainment.

The band will support the release with a brief California tour for early November.
