Chiodos
"Smitten For The Mitten"
Album: Bone Palace Ballet: Grand Coda (Equal Vision)
Release date: Oct. 28
One of the new songs on the upcoming Bone Palace Ballet reissue Bone Palace Ballet: Grand Coda, it’s three minutes and 18 seconds of quintessential Chiodos. It dips between frantic, hooky metal and a lush middle section complete with strings, piano and Aerosmith-level arena theatrics. It clearly woulda fit in on 2005’s All’s Well That Ends Well, but it’s fresh enough that we also woulda bought it as a cut from their upcoming third album. Need a new ringtone?
