U.K. metal band Johnny Truant break up
Brighton, England’s Johnny Truant are calling it quits barely one month after releasing their U.S. debut.
"We have had many amazing years, and made many great friends along the way. Thank you to everyone that has supported us and shared so many fantastic times with us, it’s been a hell of a ride and one that we are very proud of," the band said in a statement issued early Friday afternoon. "Our final shows will be in the U.K. in December. Come along and lets make them the biggest party we can."
The noisy metal/hardcore five-piece inked a deal with Ferret Records back in July and released their U.S. debut, No Tears For The Creatures, on Sept. 30.
