Travis Barker talks about lawsuit

Travis Barker recently discussed the news of his recent lawsuit against companies with ties to the September plane crash that put him and friend DJ AM in the hospital and killed four others.

The suits are against Bombardier Inc. (a Canadian Aerospace company who made the doomed Learjet); Clay Lacy Aviation (a jet-charter company); and the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

"You know, I wouldn’t have third-degree burns all over my body or be prohibited to do certain things," said Barker. "I can’t go swimming; I can’t do some of the things that normal people can do. I didn’t ask for that to happen.

"If something goes wrong that’s not supposed to go wrong or you fall victim of it, I think you should be compensated," Barker, who is seeking monetary damages, continued. "[But] I lost two friends. Nothing can bring them back or what I lost in the accident."

The only other plaintiff in the suit is Thelma Martin Still, the mother of Barker’s bodyguard Charles Monroe Still Jr., who was one of the four killed. DJ AM’s plans for suits are currently unknown.
