The Muslims change name to the Soft Pack

Brooklyn garage-punks the Muslims have changed their name to the Soft Pack.

The band provided no real explanation, but did mention:

"[We’re] working on new material and firing on all four cylinders; we feel strongly about this one. It’s a new chapter in our lives and hopefully yours."

The band released their self-titled full-length earlier this year on 1928…though one would conclude that the album isn’t really self-titled anymore.
