Sex Pistols consider recording

Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock recently spoke about the possibility of the band recording a new full-length in 2009.

"We were not recording a new album–I think that journalists are making it up," Matlock said at first, but then added, "you can never say never.

"We all got ideas between us. It’s a double-edged sword if you do it not good as the original, and if you don’t do it people want to know why – but it’s up to us. We are the masters of our own destiny."

That "original" is the band’s only full-length: 1977’s legendary Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols. Though the band has reformed for sporadic touring over the last 12 years, they haven’t hit the studio at all during that time.
