Thrice set Alchemy Index vinyl box set for release

Thrice have officially set a release date for the long-gestating four-disc vinyl box set of The Alchemy Index.

The set will contain four 10" records, one for each EP. All will be colored, as well; Fire is red, Water blue, Earth brown and Air clear. The records will be inside a hand-bound hardcover book complete with lyrics, liner notes and band commentary.

Only 3000 will be (or were) made.

The massive set will be released February 17th, 2009 through Vagrant/Vinyl Collective.

The band also recently helped bridge the gap to their next proper full-length by issuing the Live At The House Of Blues CD/DVD set.
