Brand New in the "final stages" of recording

In a blog by Brand New drummer Brian Lane, he reveals that the band have been recording "on and off since about March" and that Brand New are working with about 15 songs slated for the follow-up to 2006's The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me.

Lane writes:

"We cannot exactly tell you when this record will be done, but we can tell you that the new year will bring a bit more excitement from our side of things. We are fully aware of how long we were gone last time, and are not planning on staying home much longer."
