Polar Bear Club sign to Bridge Nine

Upstate New York outfit Polar Bear Club have signed to Bridge Nine Records. The label will re-release the band’s 2008 album Sometimes Things Just Disappear on gatefold vinyl this spring.

Drummer Emmett Menke had this to say:

“We couldn’t be happier about signing to Bridge
Nine. We’ve been talking with labels for some time now, and as cliche
as it sounds, there isn’t a better match out there for us. Polar Bear
Club has always been fans of Bridge Nine as a label and the bands
they’ve worked with. It’s rare these days to be a part of a label
that doesn’t feel the need to rest on its laurels and is not afraid to
push the envelope. We’ve been hard at work writing a new album for
the past couple weeks and we can’t wait to share with the world what
Polar Bear Club and Bridge Nine have to offer.”

The band will kick off a world tour with the Gaslight Anthem and Frank Turner in February. Their next full-length is expected in the fall.
