Red Scare updates: Swingin' Utters tribute, Cobra Skulls, the Menzingers

Red Scare Records has outlined their plans for the coming year.

The label will be releasing a tribute to long-running punks, the Swingin’ Utters, which will include Dillinger Four, Teenage Bottlerocket, Off With Their Heads, Useless ID and La Plebe among others. Dropkick Murphys is a rumored contributor.

They will also issue new releases from Cobra Skulls, the Menzingers and the Sidekicks. Specifically, the Menzingers will have a new four-song EP out by May.

Label head Tobias Jeg adds that the Copyrights and Teenage Bottlerocket may release something in 2009 as well, while Chicago supergroup the Falcon will be doing "something" this year.
