Giant change name to Braveyoung

Metallic post-rockers Giant have changed their name to Braveyoung.

The band made the change "to avoid inevitable legal repercussions… Nothing is changing, we are still the same band, but this has been a long time coming, and we are finally confident enough to go forward with it. It’s only a name."

Their new name will make its debut in the form of a two-song, 29-minute 10" on The End Records.

They last released a split EP with Tides on Level-Plane in 2007, as well as the Song EP on Southern Empire.
