Bring Me The Horizon frontman diagnosed with tonsillitis

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has revealed that his recent throat troubles stem from tonsillitis. The band (and AP 248 co-cover stars) cancelled several dates of their U.K. tour this week because of the vocalist's health woes.

Sykes blogged about the diagnosis:

"Hey guys, this is oliver, i just wanted to say sorry to anyone who was coming to see us at the shows we had to cancel this week. liverpool, glasgow & newcastle, hopefully somehow i can make it up to you! we hate having to cancel shows, but after visiting the doctors i found out i had tonsillitis, and the doctor said if it was to keep screaming i would do alot worse damage, and loose my voice. so it sucks big time, but i hope you guys can see why we didnt have a choice.

the good news is its nothing serious and ill be back to normal before you know it!

again, im sorry, and i love you guys so much!"
