Sound The Alarm announce indefinite hiatus, post unreleased tunes

Bangor, PA pop-rockers Sound The Alarm have announcedtheir indefinite hiatus.

"ABSOLUTELY nothing bad happened between us," explained frontman Cody Jancovic. "We are all still
the best of friends and always will be. I just think a lot of ways we and our label went about doing things wasn’t the best. I don’t mean to shit talk, but the music industry is a lot of bullshit which we all pretty much learned the hard way. With that said I feel we all needed to move on for the time being, find ourselves, and our place in the world.
"

To that end, the band has posted two previously unreleased demos to their MySpace page, titled "Time And Again" and "Open Up." The band recorded them with Rob Freeman (Hit The Lights, Houston Calls) just prior to making their hiatus decision.

During their run, the band released one full-length, Stay Inside, for the aforementioned label, Geffen, as well as two EPs: the self-released Coin Operated Entertainment in 2003 as Sleepwell and 2005’s self-titled on Rock Ridge.
