Monty Are I finish album

Rhode Island’s Monty Are I have announced that they have finished writing and recording for their new and currently untitled record (produced by Matt Squire) on Island Def Jam.

After writing for over a year, singer and guitarist Ryan Muir says that "we got held up by the business side of it and it gave us an opportunity to really focus on making our songs. We were like ‘Alright, instead of getting bummed out about it, let’s move forward and make the songs we already have and make them even better.’"


The post-hardcore band have two February shows in NY and RI. They will be playing their 2006 debut, Wall of People, on Stolen Transmission and several new songs.
