The Used, Anberlin, Isles & Glaciers, 16 more playing AP's free SXSW party

If you've been meaning to move within a 25-mile radius of Austin, Texas, now is the time. Or, at the very least, gas up and get ready for a road trip. Every year, Alternative Press throws an epic party at the South By Southwest Music Festival (refer to last year when Anthony Green and Craig Owens took the stage together), and this year is shaping up to be an event you’re gonna regret missing.

The party starts at noon on Saturday, March 21, at Emo’s in Austin, and features 19 bands over three stages (along with plenty of your favorite AP staffers running around). Among this year’s highlights, we’ve got the Used, Anberlin, all of the bands of the 2009 AP Tour and the very first performance of Isles And Glaciers–Craig Owens’ new side-project featuring members of Pierce The Veil, Emarosa and others. And unlike some snooty SXSW parties, this one is 100 percent free, all-ages and open to the public. See you there!
