Death Cab For Cutie plan Narrow Stairs B-sides EP

Death Cab For Cutie will release an EP of B-sides from last year's Narrow Stairs.

"It's not like they're castoffs or anything; they're part of the Narrow Stairs experience," said bassist Nick Harmer. "They needed to have a proper home, and the EP is it. There's going to be four songs on it, plus the original version of 'Talking Bird' that features Ben [Gibbard] singing and playing the ukulele.."

The EP is called The Open Door and is expected out later this year.

The band heads out on tour early next month.
