AP EXCLUSIVE: The Paper Chase announce new album
AltPress.com has been given exclusive details on the forthcoming album from Dallas indie-rockers the Paper Chase.
The record is called Someday This Could All Be Yours and is due out May 26th on Kill Rock Stars.
On this particular effort, frontman John Congleton is said to "[explore] the existential crisis inherent within a universe seemingly fated to exterminate its population."
The album is actually the first installment in a two-part series that will conclude with another record, to be released in early 2010. It’s also the debut for new drummer Jason Garner (the Deathray Davies).
The band, who last released Now You Are One Of Us in 2006, have a few tour dates coming up in their home state.
