Deathwish sign Starkweather

Long-running underground metallic hardcore act Starkweather are now the latest acquisition to the Deathwish roster. The label states:

"We are proud to announce that Deathwish Inc. is now the label home to Philadelphia’s legendary Starkweather. Arguably one of the most important and influential bands in heavy music, we are truly honored to be working with Starkweather on a variety of upcoming releases."

The band has a number of new releases in the works, including a split with France’s Overmars, followed up by a new full-length titled This Sheltering Night. Release dates for both are yet to be announced.

The band last released Croatoan in 2005.
