Friends of P rejoice: The Rentals are back!

On Oct. 24, the 10th anniversary of Return Of The Rentals, Moog-pop group the Rentals, featuring former Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, announced their reformation. The Los Angeles-based group–who, at one time, contained current Saturday Night Live cast member Maya Rudolph–are hard at work on their third album, the follow-up to 1999‘s Seven More Minutes. No word on a record label or touring plans, but we will keep you posted.
