Boys Night out return from hibernation, plan special show

After nearly two years of lying dormant, Ontario prog-screamo act Boys Night Out have announced they will return for what appears to be one show only, tentatively taking place Oct. 24 in a currently undisclosed location in Toronto. What’s more, the show will feature the original lineup of BNO (pictured) performing the Broken Bones And Bloody Kisses EP and the band’s debut LP Make Yourself Sick in their entirety, and nothing more. The band explain on their blog:

"Now, to avoid any confusion, we’re not saying this is our last show ever…buuut, it also doesn’t mean that we’re going to start touring again. It’s just one show…however, it will be a fairly special show. In fact, it will be a once in a lifetime kind of show.

We’re going to play one night in Toronto, with our five original members (connor, jeff, dave, rob and ben) and we will be playing broken bones and bloody kisses, and makeyourselfsick from beginning to end. AND NOTHING ELSE…no trainwreck, no self titled. Just want to clarify that, so no one shows up and is bummed when they don’t hear any later songs.

We’re still working out the details on what venue etc, but we’re shooting for Saturday Oct. 24th.

We’re going to keep tickets cheap as hell, so you can save your money to buy us drinks at the bar. This is going to be an awesome night, we hope to see lots of old friends from all over the place come out to party.

Once we have the venue locked down, we will let you know where you can get tickets in advance."

BNO’s last album was 2007’s Boys Night Out.
