Brand New cancels show in Alaska due to volcano

In what has got to be one of the most unique reasons to cancel a concert in recent memory, Brand New have been forced to cancel their show in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 28 due to nearby volcanic activity.

The band released this statement:

" We are so sorry to have to report that the show in Anchorage tomorrow has been canceled due to volcanic activity (something we never thought we'd have to say.)

We will try to get more details soon."

No word on any rescheduling or refunds at this time.
