Cap'n Jazz to reunite

Legendary second-wave emo band Cap’n Jazz are playing a mini-reunion set tonight at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. The performance will be part of the Joan Of Arc Don’t Mind Control Variety Show which is inspired by the album, Joan Of Arc Presents: Don’t Mind Control–a compilation featuring bands with members who were in Joan Of Arc at one point. Tim Kinsella is the frontman of both Cap’n Jazz and Joan Of Arc. Cap’n Jazz haven’t played together in 15 years. The show, which starts at 10 p.m. costs $10 to get in.
