NFG guitarist Chad Gilbert has thyroid surgery, cancer-free

After a serious health scare this week, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert is currently resting after undergoing successful surgery on Tuesday to remove part of his thyroid. Doctors had discovered nodules on Gilbert’s thyroid which contained "suspicious cells." After tests, doctors have told Gilbert that he is cancer-free. The guitarist tweeted, "Hey guys.Laying in my recovery room. 5:48 am. I’m ch ch chillin. They removed half my thyroid but no cancer.Thanks for the prayers love you"
