Circa Survive writing their "most advanced works"

While Circa Survive are tucked away writing the follow-up to 2007’s On Letting Go, guitarist Colin Frangicetto has posted an update about the process on the band’s MySpace blog.

Frangicetto says:

“We’ve been writing/recording demos for our 3rd album. We’re slowly turning the corner on this process and Im starting to feel like the core of the album has begun to rear its head. We’ve had some meetings with some potential producers and the excitement is building. As far as the songs go… there are alot to choose from still and they run the gamut of everything we’ve ever wanted to be as a band. its gonna be really interesting to see what this collection becomes because of course we’re still writing new songs on the daily and each time a new one is born it is somewhat immediately competing with a hundred others for our attention. regardless these are by far our most advanced works. its been a ridiculously odd luxury to have time to truly focus and refine our ideas before entering a studio.”
