DJ AM's death ruled accidental "acute intoxication"

According to reports, the New York City medical examiner has ruled the death of Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein the result of an accidental overdose. The examination’s findings will reportedly cite the cause of death as “acute intoxication” from a combination of cocaine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole.

Goldstein was found dead in his apartment on August 28 along with a variety of pills, a crack pipe and a bag of cocaine. He, along with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, were the only survivors of a 2008 Learjet crash in South Carolina that claimed the lives of four others.

At the time of Goldstein’s death, MTV was planning to air a reality show called Gone Too Soon, surrounding his problems with drug addiction. MTV is reportedly still considering to air the eight-episode series.
