Look Mexico sign to Suburban Home; new album out this fall

Florida indie-rock troupe Look Mexico have announced their signing with Colorado-based independent label Suburban Home Records. Label head Virgil Dickerson, who previously issued a split 7-inch between the band and Fake Problems, had this to say about the signing:

"It is important for us to be able to get along with our bands, maybe even more important than any other factor, and Look Mexico are family… Their sound recalls, at least to me, early Minus the Bear mixed with some Get up Kids, 2 bands I absolutely love. They mix melody and technical precision in a way that just grabs us."

The band are currently recording their currently untitled Suburban Home debut; that album, the follow-up to 2007’s This Is Animal Music, will come out this fall. You can currently hear a new demo, "Just Like Old Times," here.
