Are P!ATD and ‘Hamilton’ star Lin-Manuel Miranda planning a collab?

Hamilton and Mary Poppins Returns star Lin-Manuel Miranda recently tweeted a photo of Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie. Little did anyone know that this small interaction would lead to a beautiful dumpster fire of teases.

Following Miranda’s tweet, author Saeed Jones replied, Looking forward to your collab w/ Panic! At the Disco.”

After that, Miranda replied with a gif from Panic!’s “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies,” to which Urie quoted with some Hamilton-related humor.

“I am not throwing away my shot,” Urie says in the tweet. “I look great in old-timey clothes you know?”

Could this mean that Miranda and Urie are actually scheming a collab? With Urie’s passion for theatre, we most certainly wouldn’t be surprised.

This is not the first time that Panic! At The Disco were shouted out by one of their major influences. Last week, Queen guitarist Brian May shared a video of the band covering “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the 2018 American Music Awards.

Nice job, guys,” May says in an Instagram post. “Big Big thanks!”

You can watch a trailer for Mary Poppins Returns, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda, below.
