Children’s show Arthur has been all over the internet lately after revealing that one of the main characters in the show is gay.

The PBS Kids show just aired its 22nd season premiere where it showed Arthur’s teacher, Mr. Ratburn, getting married to another man.

The classic children’s show has been around for so many years, but proved it stays up with the times with the latest episode.

The episode was titled “Mr. Ratburn And The Special Someone.” Although the word “gay” wasn’t used in the show, it demonstrated to young viewers that men can marry men both in the show and real life.
