Artists including G-EazyIann DiorTrash Talk and many others are postponing their music releases in solidarity with the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests. Boosie Badazz, Max B, Chloe x Halle, Marlon Craft, Dizzy Wright and Demrick and numerous others are also doing so.

Blackbear highlights that all of his merch sales this week are going towards Black Lives Matter organizations but he was unable to delay the release of his new song.

“i think theres a song coming out too (couldnt stop it it was in the system for months) 100% profits will also go to BLM,” blackbear writes.

As artists are postponing their releases, Run The Jewels opted to drop their album for free a few days early. They’re asking people donate to the National Lawyers Guild Mass Defense Fund, which provides legal support for protesters and have raised thousands so far. They’ve also shared a link with a variety of organizations to donate to.

If you’re looking for ways to support the Black Lives Matter movement today (June 5) through music, Bandcamp has an extensive list of labels and musicians donating all of their proceeds to various organizations.
