As It Is protest elected British prime minister with shirt benefiting charity
As It Is have released merch in protest of Boris Johnson, who just became the United Kingdom’s next prime minister.
For background, Johnson, who is an avid Brexit supporter, has been compared to U.S. President Donald Trump, who he is actually friends with.

As It Is have decided to protest this decision with merch that benefits Youth Music, an organization that supports giving children access to music.
“fuck boris & his racist, xenophobic, homophobic, pro-brexit rhetoric. you can pre-order this shirt & stick a middle finger up at boris whilst supporting @youthmusic helping the arts where the tories won’t. pre-orders running until sunday,” they wrote on Twitter.
The shirt says “boris johnson is a bit of a dick” on the front and then “we live in the great depression” with Johnson’s photo on the back.

More As It Is news
Last month, Patty Walters from As It Is made a major statement by smashing and destroying a guitar on stage at Slam Dunk, but for a good reason.
Walters said the pieces of the guitar would be auctioned off to donate money to school music programs.

Hello, in true @ASITISofficial fashion, Patty smashed a guitar on stage and then proceeded to inform everyone that we’ll be auctioning off the pieces to donate to some school music programs. pic.twitter.com/FgDj1qcTRE

The entire moment sounded extremely hardcore and we wish we would have been there to see it.
Besides the incredible As It Is set, Slam Dunk seems particularly epic this year. We saw both Waterparks and All Time Low perform new songs. Plus, we got to get an on-stage collab between Awsten Knight and ATL that was probably one of the performances of our dreams.
