Danny Worsnop joins metal album-driven ‘Of Bird And Cage’ video game
Over the years, Danny Worsnop has been involved in various projects outside of Asking Alexandria. Now, Worsnop’s latest venture is part of the upcoming Capricia Productions video game Of Bird and Cage.
Worsnop is voicing one of the game’s main characters named Ari.

Of Bird and Cage is the first rock/metal album completely produced as a story-driven video game. Along with its narrative storyline, Of Bird and Cage aspires to establish a new genre in gaming surrounding interactive musicians.
Alongside Worsnop, various other musicians are also part of the project. Ron “Bumblefoot ” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), Rob van der Loo (Epica), Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation), Mike LePond (Symphony X), Rocky Grey (Ex-Evanescence) and others are all voicing characters.
Worsnop voices Ari, a character described as a “bad boy.” Ari is in a romantic relationship with the protagonist Gitta, voiced by Kobra and the Lotus’ Kobra Paige.
Worsnop has already recorded his vocal parts for Of Bird and Cage. Regarding his participation, Worsnop says he is happy to be part of the unique project. He also believes that music fans and gamers alike will enjoy the new video game.

“We’ve had a lot of fun making this,” Worsnop says. “It’s an entirely new approach, an entirely new concept, and a way to absorb the video game platform that I believe you guys are going to enjoy. There are a lot of incredible other musicians who’ve been involved in the casting, the creation, the scoring, and the performance. I would just want to say thank you to everyone who has created Of Bird and Cage for having me on board. ”
Of Bird and Cage is currently in development and the release date is still unknown at this time. However, Capricia says the game will likely arrive by early 2021. Of Bird and Cage will be available on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
