Following the cancellation of this month’s Louder Than Life festival due to unsafe conditions, scheduled act Asking Alexandria are plotting their own impromptu gig in place of the nixed event. And it’s only a dollar for admittance.
Guitarist Ben Bruce shares the news via Twitter, the musician promising an “insane” Sunday show at the Diamond Pub Concert Hall for local fans and those who made travel arrangements to Louisville, Kentucky, for the canned fest.
“LOUISVILLE – WE ARE STILL COMING FOR YOU,” Bruce says. “Louder Than Life has been cancelled so we decided to put on our own show for you guys. Tickets are just $1 at the door. THIS IS GOING TO BE INSANE. See you all there.”

In other band-related developments, Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop and Victoria Potter just got engaged, and the group released an acoustic version of their 2017 album opener “Alone In A Room” last summer.
