Asking Alexandria bassist "lucky to be alive" after truck flip

Asking Alexandria bassist Sam Bettley says he is “lucky to be alive” after being involved in a serious vehicular accident earlier today.

Bettley was driving a moving truck when a tire blew, causing the vehicle to flip. “Everything I own has been destroyed,” he said in an Instagram post, “but at least I walked away without a scratch. Grateful.”

We’re relieved you’re okay, Sam! He and the rest of Asking Alexandria will release their new studio album, The Black, March 25 via Sumerian Records.

 

Lucky to be alive. Tire blew out on me causing me to lose control and flip the truck. Everything I own has been destroyed but at least I walked away without a scratch. Grateful.
