Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce to ex-frontman Danny Worsnop: "Where's your integrity?"

In a recent interview with AltPress, former Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop commented on his departure from the band, saying, “My priority always lies with my art, and that has never changed and will never change.”

He added, “I ended up leaving because it lost the art to me. It lost its artistic integrity in my eyes. It was just selling out and that's not what I do.”

Now, during an interview with Loudwire, guitarist Ben Bruce has responded to Worsnop’s comments saying that it’s “annoying” how he’s an “Englishman” who is “singing country music with an American accent.”

“Where's your integrity?” he asked. “We’ve done what we’ve always loved to do since day one. We didn’t change—he did. So for the fact that he can sit there and say that, I just don’t… I think it’s bullshit. It’s not true.”

Asking Alexandria released their first album without Worsnop, titled The Black, earlier this year. It features current frontman Dennis Shaforostov. Worsnop is currently gearing up for the release of his debut solo album, The Prozac Sessions.
