Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop was recently interviewed on the Lead Singer Syndrome podcast where he claimed ex-singer Denis Stoff was lip syncing over his vocals at shows—yikes.

During the interview, Worsnop says: “The only weird thing was, and this was like, it was like almost illegal. He was lip syncing over my stuff for a minute. That obviously did not rub me or my lawyers the right way. They jumped on it before I did.”
He continues saying: “They were like ‘hey just so you know we sent him a cease and desist 'cause he’s lip syncing over your stuff’. I hadn’t seen them or heard them with him so, at the time, I was just like, 'yeah make sure he’s not using my stuff.'”
Worsnop also claims that after Stoff stopped lip-syncing over his voice, “he went in and tracked some to lip sync after that. But that's hearsay. I don't know the extent of the truth of that.”
About Denis even being in the band, Worsnop has some more harsh words. “Replace is a strong word. He was just keeping my seat warm. Honestly, I don’t know the kid so I have no opinion of him as a person,” he says.
