Athletics return to band-mode for new EP, 'When To Run, Where To Hide'

Athletics, the New York natives whose members span to Jersey and back, have reemerged with a pair of new songs. Known for their back catalog on Deep Elm Records, the post-rockers once found themselves (and their album Who You Are Is Not Enough) in the pages of AP's 100 Bands You Need To Know

When To Run, Where To Hide breathes new life into the band—more concise and upbeat for the returning or brand new listener—and feeds the need until another full-length crawls along.

This release, although short in length, carries a lot of weight and personal meaning to the five of us. We’re so lucky to be able to still make music, as slow-going as it may be, and we have you, our wonderful, patient, loving fans, to thank for that,” adds the band.
