In his post, Heenan said that although he may no longer be a part of the band, he does not see this as the end of his musical career.

“An announcement about my future with Attila. Thank you for all the support over the years. I love you guys. I am distraught over the bands decision however life must go on and I am excited to see what the future holds!”

Attila have released six studio albums, most recently, Chaos, which was released Nov. 4, 2016. After touring this fall alongside Chelsea Grin, Emmure and Sylar, the band will be headed on a headlining spring tour with New Years Day, Bad Omens and Cane Hill.

Attila have yet to comment on Heenan’s departure.
