August Burns Red have had a pretty spectacular day: The band were nominated for Best Metal Performance for their song “Invisible Enemy” at the 2018 Grammys. In an effort to give back to the fans who have given them so much love, frontman Jake Luhrs has decided to celebrate Giving Tuesday the right way.

For every $25 donated, he'll personally donate $5 up to $1,000 to his charity, HeartSupport.

“My fans have always given so much inspiration, love, and support to August Burns Red,” Luhrs writes. “I know of no other way than to give back on #GivingTuesday than to give myself and say thank you. It's why I started Heart Support because of the stories I would hear at the merch table after my shows of fans connecting with my music.”

Today I found out my band was nominated for a Grammy in Best Metal Performance for our song Invisible Enemy. My fans have always given so much inspiration, love, and support to @abrband and I know of no other way than to give back on #GivingTuesday than to give myself and say thank you. It's why I started @heartsupport because of the stories I would hear at the merch table after my shows of fans connecting with my music. So here's what I'm going to do. For every $25 donated to reach more music fans with the support they need, I'll personally donate $5 up to $1,000. Thank you all so much for your support on our new album and for #heartsupport. If you want to partner this #GivingTuesday for mental health the link is only bio. Thanks for all the support and love. God Bless.
