1. Bouncing Souls release new song

Bouncing Souls released “Favorite Everything,” which is taken off their upcoming EP Crucial Moments. The album is a celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary and will be released with an accompanying book March 15. Preorders for the book and EP are available here. Bouncing Souls will be going on tour with support from the Bronx, Strike Anywhere and more. Check out the dates below.

2. flor release new single

3. Cage The Elephant release “House Of Glass”

Cage The Elephant released a new track, “House Of Glass.” The song will be included on their upcoming album, Social Cues. The LP is available for preorder now. 4. La Bouquet debut new track


La Bouquet released a new single, “1990,” taken off their upcoming debut LP Sad People Dancing. “This song was written with my dear friend Nick Long in his garage,” vocalist Bryan Sammis says. “It was a hot day, I was hungover and I knew I wanted to work on something personal. I felt it was high time for something extremely introspective.” The new album is set to release March 29. They’ll be playing a show in Santa Barbara, California, at Velvet Jones in celebration of the album’s release March 30. Tickets are available here.

5. Red Hot Chili Peppers to livestream concert

Red Hot Chili Peppers are livestreaming their upcoming show at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. “Before each new place my body tingled with excitement, a yearning for a new mystery to unfold, a fascination with a new culture, the possibility of new friends, tasting new food, smelling new tastes, absorbing new rhythms,” bassist Flea says. “Learning. Learning. Learning. It is happening again right now. My heart is abuzz with joy at the prospect of performing in Egypt. I’m so grateful and humbled for the impending experience.” The show will begin 2 p.m. ET March and can be viewed for free via YouTube.

6. Wallows release new track

Wallows released a new track, “Sideline,” which will be featured on their upcoming debut album Nothing Happens. The LP will be available March 22 via Atlantic Records, and preorder is available here. 7. HALFNOISE drop new single

HALFNOISE dropped a new single, “Who Could You Be.” The track is his first release since Flowerss last year. “There are very few moments in life where it feels like lightning strikes you, and you cannot do anything besides react. ‘Who Could You Be’ was a lighting moment,” founder Zac Farro says. The song is available to stream here.

8. Avatar to release new live LP


Avatar will be releasing a live LP May 18. The King In Paris will consist of recordings when the band played at Download Festival 2018 in Paris, France. “Looking back at all that’s happened and what’s still going on, it feels more like a document from a pivotal battle than a live album,” frontman Johannes Eckerström says. Preorders for the album are available here. The group will be hitting the road this May to begin the next leg of the Avatar Country World Tour in North America. Tickets can be found here. 10. Troi Irons releases new song


Troi Irons released a new single, “Strangers.” “My earliest memories are of feeling like I didn’t belong anywhere,” Irons says. “In a sense, I value this alienation because it forces me to value truth over comfort. A lot of people don’t like that—they’d rather keep their eyes closed, ears shut. So it drives this cycle, and I become stranger than I was. And I hate that.” The track is available to stream here.
