Proceeds from the auction are going to Notes For Notes, a non-profit organization dedicating resources to providing youth with free access to instruments and other music resources.

The organization designs, equips and staffs after-school recording studios across the U.S. to provide positive experiences for underprivileged youth.

Notes for Notes co-founder Philip Gilley says in a statement that he is blown away by the band’s generosity. “One of the biggest bands in the world wanted to cruise into the studio to spend time with our youth and raise money to help sustain our work… the power of music never ceases to amaze me.”

The auction is including some pretty incredible gear and rare merch, including a Synsyter Gates guitar played on their tour with Metallica, drum cymbals, a Johnny Christ bass and a mic signed by the band. In addition to that, they are also signing ten posters from a recent German gig and more exclusive merch.

The Reverb sale starts on June 4 and you can register to be notified when it goes live. Check out the video below to see what the band has to say about their auction.

The band are currently working on their upcoming album after saying they won’t tour for the rest of the year.
