If you’ve seen Avengers: Endgame, you are aware of the scene where Tony Stark and Steve Rogers head back in time to the events of the original 2012 Avengers film.

However, according to writer Stephen McFeely, the pair almost headed elsewhere in the MCU — Asgard, the land of Thor.

“Technically in Thor: The Dark World, the Tesseract is in the vault as the Aether is also there,” McFeely told Empire. “So that sent Tony to Asgard, and he had an invisible stealth suit, and he fought Heimdall, who could, of course, see him. I think (Joe Russo) went in and said, ‘Why don’t we go in to Avengers? It’s the biggest movie, it’s the most fun, let’s go.’”

In the interview, he also discussed Stark dying in the film and how Marvel didn’t make it a necessary action.

“Marvel as a whole said, ‘We think it might be a time, but if you have a good reason not to do it, feel free – we’ll do whatever.’ But it really did seem like, particularly with what Tony experiences after the five- year break… that there wasn’t anywhere left that he needed to go,” McFeely said. “This was a guy who had made his full journey, all the way to the end, had experienced a full rehabilitation of his character from being the douchebag in the back of the Humvee at the beginning of the first Iron Man. To have him make the sacrifice that Steve Rogers would have made had he had the opportunity at that moment, just felt really right.”

Other Avengers: Endgame news

Avengers: Endgame is nothing short of a phenomenon. Everyone loves it, so it’s no surprise that it’s helped boost sales in a lot of markets — including Build-A-Bear.

If you remember the scene where Rocket Racoon startled Iron Man who said, “At this exact second, I thought you were a Build-A-Bear.” Rocket responded, saying that it might be true, which was very strange.

The scene was pretty hilarious and apparently has helped boost sales for the company. Build-A-Bear CEO Sharon Price John acknowledged that the boost in sales was due to the Marvel movie mentioning the store.

“(Sales) were further enhanced by Marvel’s generous and welcome nod to Build-A-Bear in the movie’s first 10 minutes. That’s just one more example of Build-A-Bear’s top culture presence and power,” John said during a conference call.

The exact numbers are unknown, but the sales are expected to be significant for Build-A-Bear. The two companies have worked together before, as Build-A-Bear carries an entire Marvel line. You can get a stuffed Thanos, bears themed around Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Thor and Spider-Man.

Between the recent Game Of Thrones finale and the release of Avengers: Endgame, petitions from disgruntled fans have been popping up everywhere looking to change the outcomes of their favorite franchises.

One such petition that’s been discovered concerns Iron Man and his role at the end of the latest Avengers movie. Spoiler warning, this article will discuss the finale of Endgame.

Some fans seem to be displeased with the fate of Tony Stark in the recent film, which had Stark sacrifice himself in order to defeat Thanos and save the universe.

While this is one of the most hard-hitting aspects of the latest Marvel movie, some fans feel Iron Man deserved a happier ending, and are making their opinions known.

The petition was revealed on Change.org, carrying the title “BRING TONY STARK BACK TO LIFE #savetonystark #TonyStark.” At this point, the page has eclipsed 39,000 signatures, and the number is still rising.

As previously mentioned, this has been a recurring trend in the entertainment community as of late. The Game Of Thrones petition to remake the final season in its entirety has garnered 1,623,600 petitions at this time.

The first opportunity for Tony Stark’s resurrection wouldn’t be until the next slate of Marvel films release, which could be soon. Recently, a possible list of upcoming MCU films was revealed by an anonymous source.

The source also happens to be the same anonymous person who accurately predicted a handful of minor details in Endgame ahead of its release, tweeting out the information from the Twitter account “@RogerWardell.”

Now, Wardell is predicting the full lineup of upcoming Marvel films over the next decade, as well as a few more key plot points for fans.

The alleged slate of films to be released can be seen below.

The Eternals
Black Panther 2
Shang-Chi
