‘Avengers: Endgame’ spoilers allegedly lead to man being attacked

Most people have been pretty clear they don’t want to hear spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, but clearly, one person didn’t get the point.

A man was reportedly beaten outside a Hong Kong theatre after shouting spoilers at fans waiting in line.

According to Asia One, the incident happened outside a theatre in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The incident apparently happened after the man finished the movie and began shouting spoilers near the entrance, sparking anger from people waiting their turn.

A photo has been going around of a bloody man in a white t-shirt, but some are calling its authenticity into question. While certain people are claiming the incident is fake though, other commenters claim they were at the scene and heard the spoilers being yelled.

The photo may or may not be real, but nevertheless, people feel pretty strongly about spoiling Avengers. Take a look below at some of the responses going around right now.


Directors Anthony and Joe Russo previously shared an open letter asking fans not to spoil the movie for people who haven’t seen it.

Avengers: Endgame shattering records has already been a smash hit at the box office, on its first day of release. The movie is also the second highest-rated Marvel film on Rotten Tomatoes, sitting just behind Black Panther.
