'Avengers: Endgame' teaser reveals first look at Valkyrie

We’re 5 days away from one of the most highly anticipated films in MCU history. As we wait for Avengers: Endgame to hit theaters this Friday (or Thursday in the case of some theaters), Marvel continues to bless us with TV teasers to keep us on the edge of our seats.

This morning, the 5 day teaser was released and despite it being short and sweet, it does give us a first look at Valkyrie.

The recently dropped promo shows Tessa Thompson returning as Valkyrie, a Marvel character whose fate has plagued Marvel fans around the globe.

You may recall at the end of Thor: Ragnarok that Thanos’ ship was seen looming in the background of the ship containing Thor, Loki, Valkyrie and most of the Asgardian civilization.

The opening of Avengers: Infinity War suggested that almost everyone on that ship perished, although the fate of Valkyrie was never confirmed.

Did she survive the attack on the ship? If so, did she survive Thanos’ snap?

To no surprise, Marvel has kept a tight lip on the forthcoming film, even going as far as to include some fake footage in the trailers to throw off any potential spoilers.

However, now that we’re 5 days out from the film’s debut, Marvel may have finally given us the sneak peek we needed.

The short but sweet TV teaser is monologued by Thanos, giving us a glimpse of Valkyrie along with a few other Marvel favorites.

Does this mean Valkyrie survived the snap?

We have questions.

While it was previously announced that Endgame would close out Phase 3 of the MCU, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed he now has other plans.

Feige revealed the change during an interview in Shanghai where he was asked about the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Previously, Feige stated he wanted Peter Parker to kick off Phase 4 of the MCU but during this interview, he shocked us all with some surprising news.

When asked about the forthcoming Spider-Man film, he states:

“It’s the end of the third phase… You’re the first one I’ve told that to.”

Marvel is keeping those surprises coming.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this Friday, April 26.
